The stunning houses have been clad with hand cut stone quarried from the site during excavations and are completely unique. Facades and upper levels are clad in rainscreen using reclaimed Hemlock timber sourced from barns and farm buildings in Europe. This means that the external cladding materials carry a very low carbon footprint and give the buildings their striking appearance. The expansive glazed facades, spacious balconies for al fresco dining and the clever use of Oriel windows in the second bedroom mean that views can be enjoyed from most rooms.
Modern technology and energy efficiency has been to the forefront of the design of these coastal homes to create a warm and comfortable living environment. This includes a ventilation and heat recovery system which constantly removes stale warm air from the interiors and via a heat exchanger, uses this to warm fresh air from the outside. This extremely clean air living is not only beneficial to the environment but is cost effective and extremely helpful to those who may suffer from allergies or breathing problems. There is also a summer bypass system to aid cooling in the warmer summer months.
High quality fixtures and fittings are used throughout to give an exceptional quality of finish. Each house is fitted with a Nest smart home system which controls heating, lighting, security cameras and automatic door releases. This is all controllable via wireless home tablets on first and second floors.
These amazing homes are laid out over three floors with the beautiful open plan kitchen/dining/living room to the top floor offering wonderful reception space and opens to the large balcony, with sea views.
