5 bed coastal residence
Baggy Point, Croyde
Offers In Excess Of (OIEO) £3,000,000
Properties in this location do not come to the market often, indeed this has been in the same ownership since 2005.

Recent works have been undertaken to detach The White House from the adjacent property which has been demolished to make way for a brand new build. (The computer generated images show the planning which has been approved). A knock down and rebuild is an obvious possibility for The White House if desired, subject to the necessary planning permissions.

Set on Baggy Point and surrounded by National Trust Ground in an AONB (Area Of Outstanding Natural Beauty), The White House occupies an enviable position enjoying some of the best sea views within this very popular surfing village and some amazing sunset skies. The South West coastpath is just a few paces from the front door and offers access to some of the most spectacular coastal views on this beautiful North Devon coastline.

The internal accommodation is arranged with open plan kitchen leading to breakfast room and formal dining room. There is a separate sitting room, study and cloakroom to the ground floor. 5 bedrooms (master en-suite) complete the accommodation to the first floor with the two main bedrooms overlooking the sea, Baggy Point, Croyde beach and out to Lundy Island. There is also a family bathroom and separate toilet on this floor.

    OUTSIDE
The property is approached over a tarmac driveway with ample parking and a double garage.

There is a small lawned foregarden with the main gardens being to the side and rear of the property giving elevated views over the sea and out to Lundy Island. These gardens back onto the beautiful National Trust ground that extends out to Baggy Point.

The White House has operated as a highly successful holiday rental (sleeping 10) for many years achieving an extremely good income. The property currently commands a peak rate of £5360 for this 2022 season.

AGENTS NOTE: Full particulars of the legal and logistical aspects of the detachment are available upon request together with full planning information. The CGI's featured here, show the property detached and with new boundary created to the south east of the property. All the necessary insurances and guarantees are in place.

    POSSIBLE EXTENSION
Plans have been drawn for further accommodation at the property, although planning permission has not yet been sought. These can be made available if required.

NOTE: A wide-angled lens has been used in some photographs to show full extent of the rooms.
