Semi-detached 3 bedroom character cottage
Offers In Excess Of (OIEO) £595,000
Having undergone major renovation and sub-division by these owners in 2017 & 2018, Cowslip Cottage (dating back to circa 1850) with it's wood floors, stripped pine doors and exposed roof trusses, combines a clever mix of character features with a stylish modern approach.

Approached via steps from the car parking area, there is gated entry to the south facing foregarden with maintenance free planting including grasses, flowers, shrubs, olive trees and structural plants through gravel, and pebbled beds. There is a small artificial lawn area and sandstone patio where lovely views over the village can be enjoyed. There is an outside shower located here for that essential washing off after trips to the beach.

To the ground floor, a glazed entrance porch leads into a slate floored open plan area with underfloor heating. This is arranged as hallway and well equipped double aspect kitchen/dining room. Leading off the hallway there is a sitting room, shower room & utility room.

A feature staircase leads to the first floor where there are 2 double bedrooms, a twin bedroom and family bathroom. All three bedrooms enjoy expansive views across the village and the countryside beyond. The master bedroom is full of character with exposed beams to the vaulted ceiling.

Outside: The property is approached over a private parking area within which Cowslip Cottage has two designated parking spaces together with a wooden shed for useful storage of surfboards, wetsuits and the like.

NOTE: Originally West End Farm, the property was sub-divided by the current owners to create Cowslip Cottage and The Cowshed & The Studio (marketed separately but which could combine to return to one property if required with the possibility of openings to the ground & first floor).
